Michael Jordan, whose full name is Michael Jeffrey Jordan, was born in Brooklyn, New York, USA on February 17, 1963. He was a former American professional basketball player, working as shooting guard/small forward, and now is the owner of Charlotte Hornets.

On April 16, 2003, Jordan officially announced his retirement after the last Wizards’ home game against the 76ers. [1] As recognized as the greatest basketball player in history, Jordan was officially selected into the Nai Smith Basketball Hall of Fame on September 11, 2009.
